Beginning Spinning @ Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival

September 5 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm CDT

Learn to turn wool into your own unique yarns! You’ll try many different spinning wheels during the class, learn the basic skills to spin a single yarn, and create a two-ply finished skein. No previous spinning experience required. The all-day workshop is designed for the person who has never tried spinning before! Spinning wheels will be provided. Materials fee of $20 covers a generous supply of spinning fiber and spinning wheel rental. (Fee is $10 for those who bring their own wheel. Wheels brought to class must be in excellent operating condition and completely assembled; please no antique wheels.)
