There are many nearby lodging options to help keep you comfortable while you are visiting the Fiber Garden! Here is a list below or you can download the complete list here.

Air BnBs:

  • Air BnB. I know the owners personally and would trust them to offer a positive lodging experience. Tom and Verona’s home is a net zero home in a lovely location not far from the Fiber Garden. Students speak very highly of the accommodations and the price is very reasonable. Two bedrooms and one bath. If you’re traveling with a friend, this would be perfect for you!
  • Air BnB. This is the newest addition to our lodging options. Located downtown Black River Falls. A student discovered it and was very happy with the accommodations. One bed/bedroom studio apartment.
  • Here are several other AirBnBs that look promising and are not far from the Fiber Garden. AirBnBs are fairly new in our area, so these places have not yet had Fiber Garden students stay at them. I’ll update this listing as I get student “reviews”.
  • AirBnB. This “tiny home” has one bed. It is operated by Verona, the owner of the highly recommended BnB listed above near the Black River.
    • AirBnB. Two bedroom, two bath home located on the Black River in Black River Falls.
    • AirBnB. Located in Hixton, this would be about 15 miles from the Fiber Garden.
    • AirBnB. Also located in Hixton. Two bedroom, two bath guest house.
    • AirBnB. Located in Merrillan, about 15 miles from the Fiber Garden. Two bedroom home.

Hotels in Black River Falls:

  • Comfort Inn & Suites. Probably the best of the group of hotels. This was previously a Holiday Inn Express. They also have a better breakfast in the morning.
  • Days Inn. This is usually the least expensive. Many people used to stay here because it was the lowest price. There have been some concerns expressed about the hotel front desk reception staff and a few concerns about room cleanliness or maintenance.
  • AmericInn. This used to be a Super 8 and was a decent hotel. Only a few students have stayed here since they switched to an AmericInn, so I don’t have a lot of “reviews”. Those who have stayed fairly recently (just before the pandemic) said it was nice.
