Pack your duffel bag and spit-shine your spinning wheel…you’re headed to Boot Camp! Spinners’ Boot Camp is going to be fun, challenging and confidence-building. (And there will be no 5:00 a.m. reveille calls at our camp!) During our morning “camp” sessions, you’ll become immersed in spinning skill drills and challenges suitable for all experience levels that will increase your understanding of your wheel, improve your spinning skills to influence yarn characteristics and enable you to execute the perfect handspun yarn for a knitting, weaving or other project. The afternoons will be for practical application of these skills as you plan, prepare, spin and ply yarn for a project you will select prior to class.

Some beginning spinning experience is necessary, but you don’t need to be an expert in order to take this class. “Early career spinners” are welcome!
