Pack your duffel bag and spit shine your spinning wheel…you’re headed to Boot Camp! Spinners Boot Camp is going to be fun and challenging and confidence-building. (And no 5:00 a.m. reveille calls at our camp!)  During our “camp” sessions, become immersed in spinning skill drills and challenges suitable for all experience levels that will increase your understanding of your wheel, improve your spinning skills to influence yarn characteristics, and enable you to execute the perfect handspun yarn for a knitting, weaving, etc. project. As the week progresses, we’ll take your technical skills and apply them as you create yarns specific to a project you will select prior to class. For those who have attended Boot Camp previously, you’ll start at the “rank” you were promoted to and participate in a whole new set of challenges!

Some beginning spinning experience is necessary, but you don’t need to be an expert to take this class. “Early career spinners” are welcome!
