$280.00Come weave with us in rural Wisconsin! We have welcomed many new and experienced weavers here over more than 25 years and we’d like to welcome YOU! Read on for all the details…
Multiple weaving classes will be offered concurrently and student starting times will be staggered on the first day. You will be asked to select which workshop you’d like to register for on the registration page. Please view the descriptions on the “Weaving Workshops” page and note that we do not teach rigid heddle during this workshop!
The prerequisite for all workshops, EXCEPT beginning weaving, is a beginning weaving class in which you have warped and woven on a harness loom. There is no prerequisite for the beginning class. Workshop fee is $280 plus project materials. In addition, a $15 fee is payable to the instructor for the workshop learning guide. A $70 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will be due at the time of registration to confirm your space. The remainder of your fee will be paid at the conclusion of your workshop. (Fees are only refunded if an event is canceled by the Fiber Garden. Thank you for understanding.)
The weaving workshops listed below will be offered during this class. You will be asked to select which workshop you’d like to register for on the registration form. There is no prerequisite for Beginning Weaving. For all other workshops, the prerequisite is a beginning weaving class in which you have warped and woven on a harness loom.

COVID-19/Health policy: The health and safety of all participants is our highest priority. By choosing to participate in one of our events, you agree to take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others. All participants in Fiber Garden events are expected to behave in a manner respectful of the group and take precautions to keep other participants safe from exposure to illness. If you are sick, please stay home. Anyone showing signs of any illness (not only COVID) after the start of an event will be required to wear an N95 or KN95 mask at all times. By registering for a Fiber Garden-sponsored event, you agree to comply with any established health and safety guidelines. There may be additional protocols implemented to ensure maximum safety of participants. Protocols are subject to change at any time as public health guidance is updated. Please understand that the Fiber Garden is also my personal home. For 25+ years it has been a place of retreat and creative space for many. It must also be a place of safety, for you and for me.
Terms:
-Registrations are not confirmed until deposit has been received
-Deposits are non-refundable unless the Fiber Garden cancels the workshop
-Deposits are non-transferable
-Balance of the workshop fee will be due at the conclusion of the workshop
-You agree to the health policy defined above.
-You will not attend the workshop if you are ill. If you begin showing signs of illness while at the Fiber Garden, you will wear an N95 or KN95 mask.
-All equipment, including looms, is provided. Looms brought by students must be completely assembled and in perfect operating condition
