August 26 – September 2, 2027

Join the Fiber Garden for a NEW kind of fall tour…an AmaWaterways river cruise along the Rhone and Saone Rivers of France! For those who have enjoyed one of our usual fall fiber tours, we will have an optional three day post-cruise land tour exploring the past and present fiber and textile industries of the region. Throughout the cruise we will enjoy plenty of time to gather to knit and natter on board the AmaCello. This is a perfect trip to invite your friends and family to come and cruise with you! Complete information and a link to reserve your space for this amazing journey is below. If you have any questions after reviewing the information please e-mail deb@fibergarden.com
Why AmaWaterways? This family-owned, U.S.-based, award-winning river cruise line is ready to show you what makes them outstanding in the river cruise industry! From their locally sourced food and wine, a commitment to sustainability, to the only Chef’s Table specialty restaurant. AmaWaterways was the first river cruise line to offer a fleet of complimentary bikes and a fleet-wide wellness program. And they treat their solo travelers very fairly! You will not be asked to pay twice the double occupancy rate to enjoy a cruise (exception is the suite). Single supplement rates range from 125% to 150%, making a private stateroom affordable…as it should be.
Cruise Itinerary. Our route travels from Arles to Dijon over seven nights. If you’d like to extend your vacation, you will have the option to add three additional nights at the beginning of your cruise in Nice and/or three additional nights post-cruise in Geneva as land package add-ons. (When reviewing the itinerary at the link, be sure you are reviewing the correct direction…Arles to Dijon!) For the fiber artists on the cruise, you will also have the option to add three days post-cruise for a private, 3 night French fiber arts all-inclusive land extension!
AmaCello. Take a tour of our ship and look at your stateroom options (based on availability.)
Cruise fares. Check this chart for double and single cruise fares for all stateroom categories. Fares listed are per person. Book by June 30, 2026, for the best rates and stateroom selection! Most stateroom categories will sell out. This page also outlines what is included in your cruise fare.
