The Ladybug Spinning Wheel is…well…cute as a bug! The Ladybug has the characteristic solid Schacht construction and its unique design is both functional and charming. Constructed of maple plywood and solid maple. Integrated carrying handles in the legs make the Ladybug convenient to pick up and transport. An optional attached tensioned lazy kate integrates into the front leg and makes it easy to take along, too! The Ladybug can be used in Scotch tension and double drive modes. It comes with medium and fast flyer whorls for ratios ranging from 6.5:1 to 10.5:1. Add the extra slow, slow, high, and super high speed whorls for a wide range of ratios. Included with each wheel are a poly drive band, threading hook, three travel bobbins, medium and fast whorls, and double drive band. Each Ladybug wheel is unique—somewhere on your wheel is your very own ladybug pal.

But you may also order one to be shipped directly to you from the manufacturer at no additional cost. The Fiber Garden pays all shipping charges! When you select a wheel, you will choose “local pick-up” (if we have your choice of wheel in stock) OR “please ship”. If you choose local pick-up, we will contact you to set a time for you to come and get your wheel. (Note that during the pandemic we are not allowing anyone into the mercantile, so local pick-up will be outdoors curbside pick-up only.) If you choose “please ship”, you will receive updates on the timeline for shipping your wheel. Most wheels ship promptly.
