Weaving Workshop — 2 Comments

  1. Hello! I am interested in three – Color Gamp, Double Weave Blanket, Rag Weaving – workshops, but wanted to ask if each $210 weekend includes only one? I am in Arizona and the travel is the expensive part! Are any of these perhaps virtual?
    Thanks,
    Ann, AlAnn Ranch Alpacas, AZ

  2. Hello, Ann! Each of the three workshops you have listed are separate classes. You choose one of them for the weekend. However, assuming you have a bit of weaving experience, you CAN take any of them virtually as private instruction. (I don’t currently have any small group virtual classes pending. People like the private coaching!) 🙂 Then you can work with the instructor, Susan, to set your learning goals. It’s a very flexible and personal learning option. On the page linked below, you will find an introduction to our virtual learning option and a link to a complete list of options.

You could learn any of the things you have listed by registering for “Throwing the Shuttle” or “Weaving a Project Start to Finish”, or “Weaving Coach By the Hour”. You can also do something like “Throwing the Shuttle” to learn a technique, and if you feel that you need more time, you can add hours through the “Coach by the Hour” option. (We are super flexible!

The virtual option would be the least expensive option because there would be no travel expenses, and you are only paying for time that you and Susan are actually meeting. Everything is completely customizeable to your level of weaving experience and learning goals. (Have I mentioned that we are super flexible with the virtual private instruction! LOL!)

If you have more questions, let me know. You can also email me at deb@fibergarden.com or using the contact form on this website. I hope this is helpful! We’d love to help you expand your weaving experience! Susan is an exceptional weaving instructor!
