Rigid Heddle Weaving

Fiber Blending for Spinning

This week will be a learning laboratory exploring the qualities of many plant and animal fibers, and what each brings to a finished yarn. Each day will be a set of experiments blending various fibers to produce both woolen and worsted preparations for spinning. You will create a notebook of blended preparations and the resulting yarn.
